1.Production method

Biomass charcoal: Biomass charcoal is prepared by carbonization or pyrolysis palnt. During pyrolysis process, biomass is thermally decomposed under anoxic or low oxygen conditions to be turned into carbonaceous material. In gasification process, biomass reacts with gas at high temperature to produce combustible gas and solid carbon products. 2. Physical Properties

Biomass pellets: biomass pellets are usually cylindrical in shape, with a diameter of about 6-8 millimeters and a length generally between 10-30 millimeters. The pellet density is high, the burning rate is faster when burning, and it has high energy density.

Biomass charcoal: Biomass charcoal is in the form of pellets, lumps or granules with a porous structure. Due to pyrolysis or gasification treatment, biomass char has lower moisture and volatile content and has higher fixed carbon content and energy density.

3. Applications

Biomass Pellets: Biomass pellets are widely used in biomass energy fields such as biomass boilers, biomass power plant and biomass hot water supply. Its small particle form is easy to store, transport and burn, and can realize high efficient utilization.

Biomass charcoal: Biomass charcoal is mainly used in industrial and agricultural fields. In the industrial field, biochar can be used as reducing agent, adsorbent and catalyst, etc. In the agricultural field, it can be used as soil conditioner and livestock feed additive.
